"When I was hungry you fed me"
SoulJourners For Christ Ministry
cares about thesuffering of needy individuals homeless and without food or clothes. It is more to it than just talking about doing something, we have to be about our Father's business. Jesus' entire ministry to us taught us to help, heal and restore people. We take the Good News of Christ with us in our hearts and we spread it everywhere we go, but it still takes more than that. Poeple are really hurting in this dying world, many looking for a way out and Christ is that way, they need to hear it, but most of all they need to see it in us expressing love as Christ did.

Many of our services are held in parks, on street corners, in parking lots, on Skid Row, on freeway underpasses and vacant lots or wherever the hurt, the sick, the lost hang out. Many times people just pass by and shake their heads at these people, but everyone needs love and a helping hand at one time or another in their lives. We are here to help! There is no greater feeling then to see a smile on a hurt soul and you put it there by showing love to that individual. |
"Christian Shelter for the Needy"
One day SoulJourners Founder plans to open a Christian Shelter for the Needy and the reason this is so dear to her heart, it is because she knows that while on drugs she was helpless and felt hopeless. The best thing that could have happened to her was to experience the love of Christ in her life. Evangelist Foster and the ministry members believe that it takes more than just ministering the gospel to these people. They need to be shown love through us first they see Christ, then we reach out to them in a way that houses them, feeds them, clothes them, counsels them, love them, hugthem, encourage themand give them the opportunity to experience the love of Christ in their own lives. Evangelist Foster says, "I know that there are many outreach ministries out there, but the SoulJourners makes the difference." You may be saying what is the difference, then I would say "Christ in usmakes the difference, following how the Lord leads us and not to please man/woman but to help man/woman. In order to get positive results, you first must have a positive attitude and believe in what you are doing is making a change and that is what we do, Keep it 100! No sugar coating the gospel but telling the people the truth by giving our personal testimonies of God's goodness. Our ministry consist mainly of ex-drug addicts, dealers, gang members, prostitutes, etc. who have been there done that, so we know what we know when we say it.
